These terms apply when you use disctest.me, operated by Veratex Works (Pty) Ltd, The Willows Office Park, Simon Vermooten Road, Die Wilgers, Pretoria, South Africa (hello@disctest.me).
What DISC Test is
DISC Test is a self-reflection and communication tool based on the four-factor DISC model. It describes behavioural preferences. It is not a psychological, clinical or psychometric assessment and it is not counselling or therapy.
Use that is not allowed
- Using results, team maps or reports for hiring, selection, promotion, discipline, retrenchment or any other employment decision.
- Requiring anyone to take the test, or to share their results, as a condition of employment or of a relationship.
- Inviting people without a legitimate reason or sending invitations in bulk to people who have not agreed to hear from you.
- Copying, reselling or republishing our questions, profiles, report text or characters.
Team owners and facilitators are responsible for how they use DISC Test with others and agree to indemnify us against claims arising from use that breaks these terms.
Accounts
You sign in with a link sent to your email. Keep access to your email secure. You must be 18 or older to use DISC Test.
Purchases, delivery and refunds
- Prices are in South African rand and include VAT where applicable. You will see the total before you pay.
- Digital products are delivered immediately after payment. By completing your purchase you ask us to start the service immediately, which means the seven-day cooling-off right under section 44 of the ECT Act does not apply once the product has been delivered.
- If something doesn't work as described, contact hello@disctest.me within 30 days and we will fix it or refund you.
- Team packs and icebreaker packs run for the period stated from the date of purchase. Facilitator credits do not expire.
Intellectual property
The questions, scoring, profile names, report text, characters and designs are owned by Veratex Works (Pty) Ltd. You may share your own results and the public profile pages. "DISC" is used descriptively for the four-factor model; we are not affiliated with any other DISC publisher.
Liability
DISC Test is provided for insight and conversation. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions you make based on it, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.
Changes and law
We may update these terms and will show the date of the latest version. South African law applies.
